This is our family recipe for a proper country breakfast sausage for fresh ground pork. It has NO MSG and NO ADDED SUGAR. Each 8 oz bag is resealable and properly seasons 25 lbs of meat. Works well with deer meat. It is always recommended to add some form of animal fat to deer meat for a good country breakfast sausage.

After searching high & low for a sausage seasoning that “sounded” right, I found what I was looking for with Old Hickory. It reminds me of the seasoning that we used as a kid processing our hogs.
