Welcome to our Old Hickory Sauce Company website! Old Hickory Barbecue and Old Hickory Barbecue sauce have long been a staple in the South Arkansas area since the mid 1940's. Since then, the southern traditions and home-grown roots have remained constant. We are a small company based in Smackover, AR where each bottle of Old Hickory Barbecue Sauce is home-made and hand delivered. 

Over the past few years, much care, effort, and investment has been made into Old Hickory Sauce Company to be able to better and more consistently serve our loyal customers. New kettles, bottle filling machines, and even a redesign of the label and packaging have taken place. As such, Old Hickory Barbecue Sauce has not always been as readily available to the surrounding communities. However, we now feel that we are in a place that we can consistently be able to provide the best tasting and best quality products that really do make Old Hickory Barbecue Sauce "The best of the better sauces!" So welcome to our first blog post, and to our website! We hope that you love us and you love our products.

For those of you who have never tried Old Hickory Barbecue Sauce, we sincerely hope that if you do try it then it will become one of your favorites. Our sauce is quite a bit different than many of the mainstream sauces you see out on the market, which is one of the reasons we feel makes our sauce something special. With a flavor that is simultaneously smoky, bold, lightly sweet, but also mildly spicy, there is simply no other sauce like it and it is what keeps bringing our loyal customers back for more.
